Blurb: Tamsyn Thorne has not been back to her home town of Poldore for five long years.

But now her brother, Ruan is about to get married and she has no excuses left.

Her plans to arrive in Cornwall looking chic and successful are dashed when a huge storm turns her from fashion goddess to drowned rat. Worse, she ends up insulting the local hunky vicar-and then finds a tiny baby abandoned in his churchyard.

Review: This was a brilliant story. As I started reading I felt like I was right there in the thick of all the action. It felt like one of those cosy reads where the world around you disappears and you appear right in the middle of the world Scarlett has created. A good sign of an amazing writer.

Tamsyn is a loveable character who has let the past control her future. With her brother getting married it is time to face the future. The reason she left her home is not something I will give away but one that she can not escape from. As she comes to terms with her past her future becomes clearer and we all love a happy ending.

When choosing this book the tile is what grabbed me first. I was intrigged to see how a baby fitted in with two weddings. I was not diapointed. Tamsyn discovers more about herself via a baby which helps her to overcome some issues she has put in pace to protect her from the past. I just adore Tamsyn’s family they sound like so much fun to be around.

This story brings together all the people in the village in a time of need and shows such community spirit something which has recently been shown in London and is such an important thing the British do. While reading about it, it makes you think that it should happen all the time and not just when a tragedy occurs.
