Pre-publication review:

Title: Catch me if you Cannes

Author: Lisa Dickenson

Blurb: Jess has decided it’s time to get out of her comfort zone and live a little. So when her best friend Bryony, a journalist on a gossip magazine, is sent to cover the Cannes Film Festival, Jess decides to seize the day and go along for the ride. Two weeks of sun, glamour and exclusive entry into celeb-filled parties is just the kind of adventure Jess needs.

Reality soon bites though when Jess and Bryony find they’re staying in a dingy hotel far away from all the action and Bryony’s expenses budget barely covers a glass of local wine. Undeterred, the two women are determined to live like the elite and enjoy one fancy night out to begin their holiday. So what if they have to tell a few white lies along the way? It’s just this once. No harm done . . . right?

Review: This is a fantastic book I truly loved it. It is my first book by Lisa Dickenson that I have read and I am a massive fan. I am going to be reading all her books.

Lisa creates such real loveable characters that you can relate to so much. The plot is full of fun, romance and friendship. From what I have read about Lisa on her amazon profile and in her author bio, she sounds like such a character and that just shines through her writing.

I love the relationship between Jess and Bryony they have such a bond that each knows when to be there for each other and when the other one needs space. Those girls have balls. The lies they make up create some absolute laugh out loud moments, I ended up needing to explain all what was happening to my husband, while reading her was watching something quite serious in the telly and there was me laughing at the book. It is so funny when reality does hit but that just makes the story even better. I would really love to see these to in another story.

This is a must read if you like a book about romance, friendship, hope and a story with laugh out loud moments. This book is full of them.
